Researchers say genetic tests, published last week inJournal of Forensic Sciences, point to Aaron Kosminski, a 23-year-old Polish barberand prime suspect at the time. As you’ll recall, Jack the Ripper is believed to have been responsible for the gruesome deaths of at least five women in the streets of Victorian London. The results come from forensic samples taken from a blood-stained silk shawl that was believed to have been found next to one of the mutilated bodies – the killer's fourth victim in 1888.
