GMA reporter Amy Robach...with a push from colleague and cancer survivor Robin Roberts...had her first mammogram...and it turned out she has breast cancer. Wow...wasn't expecting that, she admits.
Just another reason to have yourself checked regularly and to push those around you who may be reluctant to do the same!
If there is one thing I have learned since being diagnosed with cancer, it is that every day is precious. And it really does no good, emotionally or physically, to hold on to grudges and bitterness. Life is too short to withhold forgiveness. My friend, Bob Moyers, is the founder of National Forgiveness Day...always the last Saturday in October. And for the past 8 years, he has shared his message of Unconditional Love/Be Healthy Plan/National Forgiveness Day. Check his website for more info...and maybe he can help unburden those who just can't let go of a transgression:
What a fun time we had at Ragazza boutique...while raising money for the Koman Cancer Foundation. This is me with Mary Westphal, from the Komen Foundation,...and we are modeling our outfits put together by Jane Wurth from Ragazza. For every pair of Not Your Daughters Jeans we tried on...Ragazza made a donation to Komen. And since I love jeans...I tried on a lot. Thanks Jane Wurth for an entertaining night...for a great cause!
(Ragazza is located in downtown P-burg and in the David Broadway Salon on W. Central)
