Whew...what a whirlwind! Friday night the "Lights Before Christmas" at the Toledo Zoo got us all started in the quest for the Christmas Spirit! It didn't take but a split second to find that inner child when all the blue lights lit up the giant Spruce. Amid the ooh and ahhs, I found that the adults were more excited than the kids.

Saturday Lourdes University welcomed hundreds to their 113 acre campus to walk around, visit and check out the programs offered there. It was a spectacular day (comple with chicken nuggets!) spent in gorgeous weather.

Saturday night we moved on to Levis Commons. Is there a place in NW Ohio that says "Christmas" better than Levis Commons? Wow, it was like a giant Christmas Village all set up with shops, people strolling the sidewalks, Christmas music, dancers and singers. The tree lit up right after 8PM (led by Elmo) and toopped off a perfect evening.

Sunday TSO hit (and I do mean HIT) the stage at the Huntinton Center. It was a new show with more lasers, more lights, more smoke and hotter fire than ever. The story was great and the sound was perfect. (I cannot hear this morning, so bear with me).

Thanks for being out and around and sharing a few moments with me this weekend. This is an amazing community and I love being here. It's just beginning, so I'll see you somewhere/everywhere this season. (Mother Ginger is right around the corner!)
