Here is a rundown of a couple of very adoptable pets this week from our Human Society!

MB and R

Pickles

American
Bulldog Mix – 2 year old, female

ID# A052593

Adoption Fee: $100.00

  • Pickles was also transferred to TAHS from the Lucas
    County Dog Warden

  • We’re still learning about Pickles and we don’t know
    anything about her past

  • What we have learned is that she is very sweet and
    loves affection

  • Pickles loves to play with toys and other dogs

  • She’s very eager to learn and would love an owner
who will continue to work with her on obedience training and manners

  • She’s a bit active and would do best in a home where
she will get plenty of exercise and someone who loves to play with her and work
    on training

Callie

Calico
Short Hair – 2 year old, female

ID#
A052545

Adoption
Fee:  $100.00

  • Callie
was found wandering out in the cold.

  • A kind
person tried to provide Callie with a new home but unfortunately the cat she
already had wasn’t happy about having a new roommate.

  • Callie was brought into TAHS with the hopes that she would find a new home.

  • Callie is a lovable and independent girl.  She
enjoys being petted and sleeping on soft beds.

  • Callie is calm and quiet and doesn’t spend much time playing with toys.

  • She is a little scared when she is in new or unfamiliar places but she warms up quickly
    if you’re gentle with her.

Cold Weather Tips for Pets:

  • Keep your pets indoors

  • Provide adequate shelter outdoors if unable to keep
    indoors

  • Wipe off your dog’s paws and belly after walks

  • Buy your dog a sweater or jacket (especially small
    dogs)

  • Avoid shaving your dog, or giving them super-short
    hair cuts

  • Snow and ice are NOT a substitute for water

  • Do NOT leave your pet alone in the car

  • Watch for thin ice
