Abby was brought into the
Toledo Area Humane Society after her owner moved into a place where Abby wasn’t
allowed.


  • Abby is a friendly and
    playful girl that loves spending time with people.

  • Her previous owners kept
    her mostly outside and she is hoping that her new family will make a place for
    her indoors.

  • Abby is very smart and
    eager to please.  She enjoys cuddling and
    loves to go on walks with her owner.

  • She loves to play with
    stuffed toys and she will carry them around with her when she is in the mood to
    play.

  • After spending so much
    time living outdoors, she doesn’t have much tolerance for small furry
    things.  She will need a home without
    cats, small dog or pocket pets that may trigger her prey drive.

    was brought into the Toledo Area Humane Society because her owner was sick and
    couldn’t take care of her any longer.

  • Cupcake has unusual gray and cream markings that
    give her a unique appearance.

  • She lived with a small dog in her previous
    home.  They were friends but Cupcake was
    the boss in the relationship. 

  • Cupcake is affectionate, playful and somewhat
    independent.  She likes to spend quiet
    moments by herself and enjoys bird watching from the windowsill.

How to Love a Shelter Pet



This fun-filled two-hour program lets kids explore our
shelter during a scavenger hunt, play animal-themed games and make treats for
the animals.
