  • Scooter was brought into the Toledo Area Humane
    Society because his owner moved into a place that wouldn’t allow pets.

  • Even though he is 7 years old, he is semi active
    and will need regular exercise.

  • Scooter hasn’t spent much time around children and
    would be more comfortable in an adult only home.

  • He likes to go for walks and is friendly and
    playful with calmer, older dogs and cats.

  • Scooter is missing several teeth and he will need
    to be fed a canned food diet for the rest of his life.

 

 

Muffin

  •  
    Muffin was found wandering outside in the cold.  His long hair was badly matted and he had a
    severe injury to his eye.

  • Unfortunately
    the vet couldn’t save his eye.  The eye
    was removed and his coat had to be shaved down to remove all of the debris
    tangled in his fur.

  • Muffin is
    very calm and a bit on the independent side.

  • He enjoys
    being petted and is happiest in a calm environment.

  • He would
    prefer a home where he is the only pet and would be a great companion for an
    older person.

Toledo, OH – February is “Adopt a
Rescued Rabbit” month and the furry friends at the Toledo Area Humane Society
are hopping with excitement and anticipation of finding forever homes.  To help their cotton-tailed friends adjust to
their new homes, all rabbits adopted during
the month of February will take home a care package including hay, a water
bottle, and other rabbit-friendly goodies (while supplies last).
