 Christy was brought in through the Toledo Area
Humane Society’s cruelty department.


  • Her owners left her tied out to their porch when
    they moved away.

  • Christy is pretty nervous when she is in unfamiliar
    places.  It may take her a little time to
    warm up to new people.  Once she does,
    she is the sweetest girl.

  • Christy loves to sit on your lap and just be
    showered with love.

  • Once she bonds with a new person she will be your
    best friend forever.

  • Because she is so timid she is best suited for a
    home without children or other animals.

  • Christy will be happiest in a quieter home, with a
    patient owner that will give her time to adjust to her new home.

Lizzy was brought to the Toledo Area Humane Society
with a litter of kittens.


  • Lizzy and her babies lived in a foster home until
    the kittens were old enough to be placed up for adoption.

  • Lizzy is a beautiful and sweet girl that enjoys
    being petted and brushed.

  • She will want a lot of attention from her new owner
    and she enjoys the company of gentle children. 

 

 

 

TAHS Celebrates its
129th Anniversary

 

To
celebrate this incredible milestone, the Toledo Area Humane Society wants to
help 129 animals find their forever homes between
February 14 and February 28.  During those two weeks, select staff favorite adult cats will have
their adoption fees reduced to $14.   All adopters will also have a chance
to spin a prize wheel following their adoption for a chance to win a special
treat for their new pet.

is “Adopt a Rescued Rabbit” Month– Hop by the Toledo Area Humane Society Today!

 

Toledo, OH – February is “Adopt a
Rescued Rabbit” month and the furry friends at the Toledo Area Humane Society
are hopping with excitement and anticipation of finding forever homes.  To help their cotton-tailed friends adjust to
their new homes, all rabbits adopted
during the month of February will take home a care package including hay, a
water bottle, and other rabbit-friendly goodies (while supplies last).
